The zone spreads from the Centre of France to the Atlantic Ocean.
Since 16 November 1981, the Vin de Pays du Jardin de la France covers 13 French departments with an average annual production of 600,000 hectolitres.
Maison Paul Godinat has elected to commercialise four grape types:
• SAUVIGNON BLANC produces a palette of rich aromas which are strongly influenced by the terrain.
• CHARDONNAY BLANC with its pale yellow colour, yields elegant, subtle, fruity, rounded wines and is long in the mouth.
• CABERNET ROUGE displays a ruby colour, is elegant, refined and produces aromas of red fruit.
• GAMAY produces drinkable wines, which are balanced and light.
